Shock and dismay

That's what most former TLC consultants are feeling today as the news sinks in that TLC has kicked us to the curb. They e-mailed us yesterday afternoon at 4pm (they always post crap on Friday afternoons) that they dissolved all consultantships and are now a "discount buyer's club". I think the only thing that saved me from a complete meltdown was that last week my husband and I decided TLC would probably go under soon, and we made the big changes I posted about yesterday. Still, we thought I had my income for at least a few more months. Yeah, well, that and a cup of coffee . . .

My heart aches for you and the others that worked this business up until the bitter end. I think it totally sucks. I know that you will succeed with whichever path you choose to take at this point. You are clever and determined and capable.

Just a note to let you know that you are being thought of. I am so sorry that you and the others have had to live through the demise of TLC. If I know you well, I know that you will carry on and fight even harder to reach your dreams! You are a strong and determined human being! Much Success in whatever path you choose!

I don't know who Jessica is but I don't think bashing a good person is approprate.
I've been with TLC before they actually were TLC and I'm sorry to inform whomever but TLC business practices have been less than honorable at times. I live in Utah, have been on executive council and have seen first hand what is going on. I know they have been trying to grab at anything to keep the company going and that's why I phased out of it as a leader and business. When they opened a retail store in Salt Lake that was the begining of the end for those in Utah.
I don't know what TLC holds for the future but you sure need to look at their past to see how they will react in the future.
I want to thank Krystal and all the others who helped build TLC bigger than it ever was.

You may not remember me, I'm under Susan Catmull in Utah. I feel sorry for your loss of income. I worked this business as hard as anyone with party after party. I was number 2 in personal sales 3 years ago and number 3 in personal sales 2 years ago. I also earned & went to Cancun with TLC. I want to say to the Jessica who posted mean thoughts the other day, that she obviously has NO idea what she is talking about in regards to TLC. The head office is here in Utah & I have seen the destruction & lies first hand. Not many people outside of UT know what really has been going on with TLC. They opened a store here at home office 1 year ago & have been advertising it on a very popular program that runs statewide, into Colorado, Idaho and parts of Nevada know as "Good Things Utah". While on the show they did not mention to contact a consultant to purchase, but to buy direct from them. Cutting out our commission! TLC has done plenty of segments with the show. They weren't promoting a MLM company but a retail company. I personally have been in the home office while people off of the street have come in to purchase products. Where's our commission? There are plenty of other things I could tell you that most have no idea about & would be astonished. If you want to blame leaders, blame those at Head Office who run the company. I loved their product & wished it would've worked out. I have been selling Usborne children's books for a year now & love their MLM program!! I've never been happier. (I'm making a lot more money & earning a trip to Rome for 2. ALL expenses paid for 6 days plus $400 spending cash! Includes airfaire.) I hope you find that kind of happiness with whatever you do next. Check me out at www.Jennifersbooks.com.

Krystal, I am so sorry to hear about TLC. I know you worked your business very hard and gave 100%. How horrible for something like this to happen. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers and if I can do anything for you please don't hesitate to call.
